Sandy Balls...The Blurb

West 4 training weekends are a great opportunity to get some quality training in. The trips are not geared towards any particular event or distance, rather it includes both marathon and 10km/10mile training. The key for you all is to pick off the right amount FOR YOU.

You will find that there is a natural pattern of exercise, showers and food (breakfasts and lunch on Saturday tend to be self catering) interspersed with a walk, local visit or collapse on the settees. Some bring their own bikes, particularly if they don’t intend on doing two sessions on the Saturday. If you do bring your bikes, remember to bring locks as you can lock them to railings on the balconies.

Arrival is any time from Friday afternoon 3pm and departure by 10am on Monday. Some choose to stay over on Sunday night which allows for a sedate Sunday afternoon and quiet beer in the evening followed by a very gentle jog on the Monday morning. Arriving on Friday it is best to check with others in your lodge as to when they plan to arrive. The first in the lodge has to sign in at the Reception.
